Athletic & jogging track construction

Polyurethane and prefabricated rubber running surfaces, from school jogging loops to 400 m eight-lane competition tracks.

The track gives the energy back

The track gives the energy back

A running surface has to do two opposite things: absorb the impact of landing, and return energy to the push-off. Get the balance wrong and athletes either lose time or pick up injuries.

That balance comes from the rubber system and its thickness, laid over a base flat enough that lane times are comparable all the way round.

  • 13 mm competition thickness as standard
  • Full-pour PU or prefabricated rubber systems
  • Laser-graded base so all lanes measure true
  • Jogging loops for schools, parks and campuses

Common questions

Athletic & Jogging Tracks FAQ

How long does a 400 m track take to build?
Around eight to sixteen weeks depending on base condition and weather, since PU needs dry laying conditions.
Full-pour or prefabricated?
Full-pour gives a seamless competition surface. Prefabricated is faster to install and quality is consistent because it is factory-made.
Can a track be laid over an existing one?
Sometimes. If the old surface is bonded and the base is sound, a resurface is possible. We core-test before committing.
